Ravindra Singh Bhati brought together a gigantic Walk-A-Thon in Jodhpur which enrolled over 10,000 students in the process.
This was an essential part of Bhati’s vision for a fit culture to bloom in society. The campaign involved thousands of youth and stated that an active lifestyle and individual health is what matters, thereby turning Bhati into a crusader for public health.
A comprehensive program for all-round development of youth. The program was meant to equip young people with necessary resources, opportunities, for skill development, and help for their personal development. With well-thought-out activities, the program was to be a confidence-booster and an encouragement to self-reliance with a sound base for future leaders in the making, as youth were empowered to contribute to society in meaningful ways.
Considering this to be a critical but often stigmatised health topic, Bhati initiated the Period Positive Campaign in order to raise awareness of menstrual health among young people. This challenged long-held social stigmas by providing education on menstrual hygiene and candid discussions of women’s health, henceforth working towards a stigma-free society which would become increasingly informed and liberal, especially among youth.
At the very challenging time of COVID-19 lockdown, the attention Bhati paid towards the issues of the community surfaced with coordination of supplies such as sanitizers, food, etc., towards the most vulnerable groups that could not source basic necessities due to financial or physical constraints. It was quite an important gesture in showing Bhati’s commitment towards helping the community in times of crisis.
